The Kupałaŭski Theater is the company and staff of the Janka Kupała National Academic Theater in Belarus. In 2020 we were preparing to celebrate our centenary, yet things turned out differently: on 26 August we left the theater in solidarity with the Belarusian nation that had taken to the streets in peaceful protests against the violence and lawlessness that had swept the country. We are a national theater because we have been standing by our nation for all these years.
